Royal Academy Of Arts (RAA)

From its foundation in 1768 the Royal Academy of Arts has provided
a voice for art and artists.

They are an independent charity led by eminent artists and architects—the Royal Academicians— and they pursue their mission through exhibitions, education and debate.

The Royal Academy of Arts is known today mainly for its exhibitions at the Burlington House Galleries. However its operations also include the RAA Schools which offers the only 3 year Post Graduate programme in Europe. In addition the RAA hosts corporate events and hospitality to help raise money for the ongoing upkeep of the buildings.

The redevelopment programme was undertaken to provide a physical connection between the two buildings Burlington House and 6 Burlington Gardens, undertake substantial upgrade of 6 Burlington Gardens and improvements to Burlington House in preparation for the RAA’s 250th Anniversary in 2018.

The redevelopment programme was opened by Her Majesty The Queen

and is a category winner in the 2019 Brick Awards.
